Atacama Immersion Chile

The experience of learning while immersed in the driest desert of the world.

Atacama Immersion Chile came to existence in 2012, and is accountable to the Administration of Institutional Relations of the Catholic University of the North. Resources obtained over the program are allocated to the Scholarship Fund that fosters student mobility through international exchange of UCN students.

The initiatives forming the program are designed in such a way that they deliver a significant learning experience in the driest desert of the world, not only covering quality academic education, practical field activities and integration meetings, but also periods for visitors to know each other, share and talk about their experiences.
